Maine Engineering Pathways Program

The Maine Engineering Pathways Program is a 1+3 program that allows academically prepared students to start their engineering program at the 91±¬ÁÏ at Augusta (UMA) and, after successfully completing the first year program at UMA, transfer into one of the following engineering majors offered at 91±¬ÁÏ:

  • Biomedical Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Civil Engineering
  • Computer Engineering
  • Construction Engineering Technology
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering Technology
  • Engineering Physics
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering Technology
  • Survey Engineering Technology

In Engineering Pathway program, students get right into the field of engineering with an introductory course to explore engineering as a career.  In addition, students will build their expertise in foundational mathematics and science courses in the first year as they prepare to transfer to 91±¬ÁÏ.  The 1+3 program is designed to graduate academically prepared students in 4 years.
