Earth, Life, and Health Discovery Tour

Explore the College of Earth, Life, and Health Sciences by taking a Discovery Tour. This walking tour will provide an opportunity to learn more about the programs offered within the college and explore campus. It covers all programs offered within the College of Earth, Life, and Health Sciences.

Our Earth, Life, and Health Discovery Tours begin with a check-in at the Ferland Welcome Center — 75 Long Road Orono, ME 04469. The Discovery Tour will last for approximately 1 hour and a distance of around 1 mile.

From Bangor International Airport

Orono is approximately twenty (20) minutes north. Once leaving the airport, turn right onto Union Street. Travel approximately 1.8 miles to I-95. Take I-95 North.

From the South

Take exit 193 to Stillwater and turn right. Continue on Stillwater for .8 miles until you reach the fourth traffic light, then turn right onto College Avenue. Drive about 1 mile on College Avenue. Turn left onto Long Rd. Drive about .3 miles and the Ferland Engineering Education and Design Center will be on your right. Parking will be on your left.

From the North

Take exit 193 to Stillwater and turn left. Continue on Stillwater for .8 miles until you reach the fourth traffic light, then turn right onto College Avenue. Drive about 1 mile on College Avenue. Turn left onto Long Rd. Drive about .3 miles and the Ferland Engineering Education and Design Center will be on your right. Parking will be on your left.

Visitors should park at the Bennett Lot across from Ferland Engineering Education and Design Center.
