Karen has over 35 years of experience in health care and nursing leadership. She holds a  bachelor’s degree in nursing from the 91±¬ÁÏ and master’s degrees in business from Husson University and HealthCare Delivery Science from Dartmouth College. Her experience is rooted in decades of leadership and operational excellence as a Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Patient Care Services in both large academic, community, and psychiatric hospitals

Karen is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and served on the Board of Governors fand is well versed in the national issues impacting healthcare today.  

Karen built her foundation and style of leadership while serving in the Army Nurse Corps and is deeply committed to patient care and employee experience.  

Karen has two children, Kayle and Jonathan, and four grandchildren, Kenley, Noah, Jolene, and Julia.
