A Far Cry is a Grammy-nominated, Boston-based chamber orchestra known for its collaborative approach and adventurous programming. This program features Copland鈥檚 iconic Appalachian Spring in its original 13-instrument version鈥攁 work that captures the spirit of American optimism and landscape. Also included are Shelley Washington鈥檚 SAY, a bold and contemporary expression of voice and identity, and a chamber arrangement of Beethoven鈥檚 Symphony No. 6 鈥淧astoral鈥, a timeless ode to nature.
