SUMMARY:Hedgerows for Resilient Landscapes Webinar
DESCRIPTION:Discover how hedgerows can strengthen home and community landscapes by supporting biodiversity\, improving habitat connectivity and promoting natural pest management. This two-part learning series\, offered in partnership with Maine Audubon and the 91±¬ÁĎ Cooperative Extension\, combines virtual instruction with hands-on fieldwork at the Rogers Farm Demonstration Garden in Old Town. Participants will explore plant selection\, site preparation\, installation techniques and long-term maintenance strategies to create multifunctional hedgerows that provide food and shelter for birds and beneficial insects. The webinar is free; the in-person workshop is $15. Participants are welcome to sign up for one or both sessions. Pre-registration is required.
