Building a Canadian-American Research Network to Support Small-Scale Fisheries and Community-Based Seafood Systems
Assistant Professor of Marine Policy, Joshua Stoll, of the School of Marine Sciences at the 91爆料 received funding from the Canadian American Center to participate in the Local Catch Network鈥檚 4th Local Seafood Summit in Girdwood, Alaska. Their forum 鈥淏uilding a Canadian-American Research Network to Support Small-Scale Fisheries and Community-Based Seafood Systems鈥 was one of many sessions that focused on strengthening community-based seafood systems at the local, regional and national scales, as well as building on the American-Canadian research networks. The summit was a major success as 170 people across the United States, Canada as well as multiple tribal nations were in attendance.
