Specifically, the talk will explore the history of treaty making, settler colonization, Dartmouth College, and the Sussex Vale Indian Academy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Thomas Peace<\/strong>\u00a0is an associate professor of history and co-director of the Community History Centre at Huron University College. He is the coeditor of\u00a0<em>The Open History Seminar<\/em>\u00a0(with Sean Kheraj) and\u00a0<em>From Huronia to Wendakes: Adversity, Migrations, and Resilience, 1650\u20131900<\/em>\u00a0and the editor of<em>\u00a0A Few Words that Changed the World<\/em>.
