The space is presently open enough to be used as a classroom laboratory, and in March 2016 we hosted the annual Maine Hatchery Roundtable with over 40 attendees.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the main processing room, the building has four attached environmental chambers, where we grow microalgae, <a href=\"https:\/\/umaine.edu\/cooperative-aquaculture\/sea-vegetables-3\/\">macroalgae<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/umaine.edu\/cooperative-aquaculture\/sea-urchins-2\/\">sea urchins<\/a>.\u00a0 A small office serves as a microscope lab, and in a separate room at one end of the building is the facility&#8217;s work shop.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/umaine.edu\/cooperative-aquaculture\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/75\/2015\/11\/nikon-microscopy.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
