Michael Call came to the 91±¬ÁÏ in 2001. His previous experience includes his time as a sensor fabrication engineer for the Sensor Research and Development Corporation of Orono, as a photolithography equipment technician for National Semiconductor Corporation of South Portland, Maine, and as a ground radio and cryptologic equipment technician for the United States Air Force and Maine Air National Guard.

Expertise

Serve as liaison between CORE labs and UMS Facilities Management to expedite service requests and assure that lab / equipment expertise and familiarity is extended throughout any service or maintenance visit

Assist CORE lab managers with implementation and set-up of new equipment

Document standard operating procedures for equipment

Provide design, fabrication, installation, maintenance, and repair services campus-wide
