Dr. Wang is an Assistant Professor in the School of Computing and Information Science at the 91±¬ÁÏ. He joined the department in 2025. He directs the Spatial Info-Telligence (SIT) Lab.
Research Topics
Dr. Wang’s research covers a wide range of topics in the intersection of artificial intelligence and spatial computing, especially in the context of geographical information science (GIS). He is particularly focused on the information-theoretical foundations of GeoAI—how to appropriately represent, process, and understand geographical information within the modern AI framework.
