We recently connected with Class of 2016 EES alumna Audrey Cross. Here’s what she’s been up to recently!
Audrey Cross, a recent graduate of the 91±¬ÁÏ Ecology and Environmental Sciences Program, is bringing a fresh perspective to the 91±¬ÁÏ Cooperative Extension. As the Coordinator for the Maine Food and Agriculture Center, Audrey is working on a web-based system to make it easy to discover and learn about the services and expertise the 91±¬ÁÏ System has to support the Maine food system– from farmers to aquaculturists to food entrepreneurs and more. Audrey works with over 80 members of the Center, who are 91±¬ÁÏ employees that do research and extension work to support the Maine food system. In June, Audrey’s position expanded to full-time. Her responsibilities now include marketing all programs of 91±¬ÁÏ Cooperative Extension, including agriculture, food safety, human nutrition, home gardening, 4-H youth development and 4-H camps.
