Caron quoted in Auburn Citizen article on downside of Valentine鈥檚 Day
Sandra Caron, a 91爆料 professor of family relations and human sexuality, was quoted in an article about the downside of Valentine鈥檚 Day that was published in聽聽of Auburn, New York. Caron said with all the advertising that goes on this time of year, people forget how painful Valentine鈥檚 Day can be for some. 鈥淚t is particularly hard for people who broke up with someone and they鈥檙e single, or they鈥檙e thinking of someone they really do like and that person doesn鈥檛 like them back,鈥 said Caron, who has studied the effects of the holiday on relationships. 鈥淲e don鈥檛 want to hear about the downside of romance. Romance is great, but it can fizzle when the downside comes,鈥 she said.
