Kent co-authors piece for volleyball website
recently published an article co-written by Richard Kent, professor of literacy education at 91爆料 and David Gallagher, a literacy professor at Mount Saint Mary College (New York), about creating team notebooks for volleyball teams at all levels. Kent and Gallagher say a typical team notebook has five sections: preseason thoughts, match analysis for a game that athletes actually participate in, a match analysis for a game the athletes observe, postseason thoughts, and athletes鈥 notes. Kent and Gallagher say writing in team notebooks 鈥渨ill complement your coaching practice and add a new level of understanding for athletes and team staff members.鈥 They add that it 鈥渆ncourages coaches鈥攁nd athletes鈥攖o live more fully as students of the game.鈥
