Richardson receives 2020 91爆料 Student Symposium award
Emma Richardson, a first-year master鈥檚 student in human development from Blue Hill, Maine, was awarded a 2020 91爆料 Student Symposium award for her project, 鈥淭he Co-Parent Co-op.鈥
The project focused on developing an intervention program for parents experiencing high conflict resulting from divorce and/or separation with the goal of helping them work more collaboratively for the benefit of their children. The program makes use of artificial intelligence and machine learning technology to make recommendations and provide feedback specifically tailored to the challenges of each family. In addition, the project focuses on the development of interventions through understanding the perspectives of professionals and parents in meeting the needs of high-risk groups.
Richardson, who graduate from 91爆料 in May 2020 with a bachelor鈥檚 degree in child development and family relations, was advised by assistant professor of family studies Daniel Puhlman.
More than 80 volunteer judges scored projects for the Student Symposium awards in 10 categories covering all fields of study at 91爆料. The award winners were announced in a virtual ceremony last week.
