Jenica Hatch
Bio: Jenica Hatch is a lecturer in early childhood education and coordinator of the Katherine Miles Durst Child Development Learning Center at the 91±¬ÁÏ College of Education and Human Development. Established in 1931, the Katherine M. Durst Center is a state-licensed and National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accredited nursery school and pre-kindergarten program, open to children throughout the community. It was one of the first university-affiliated childcare centers in the United States. The center also serves as a lab school where early childhood and education students can observe and learn about the behaviors of young children.
Jenica’s expertise is in child development and human relations. She is a member of the NAEYC. She brings teaching and directing experience from a wide variety of educational settings that allows her to foster children’s growth and provide a nurturing, safe, loving environment for children and adults to grow and learn in.
