Bio: Joo Young Lee is an assistant professor of special education in the 91±¬ÁÏ College of Education and Human Development’s School of Learning and Teaching. Her research centers on evidence-based practices that enhance students’ mathematical problem-solving and reasoning in inclusive settings. Her recent work has utilized various quantitative research methods to validate mathematical writing interventions and assessments for students with learning disabilities and difficulties, with a particular emphasis on mathematical language development. Prior to her current position, she served as a postdoctoral researcher in teacher education at the 91±¬ÁÏ.
