It was co-hosted by Morrison (<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MiaLMorrison\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">@MiaLMorrison<\/a>) and Kelly Croy (<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/kellycroy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">@kellycroy<\/a>), director of innovation and instruction at Port Clinton City School District in Ohio.<\/p>\n<p>Educators who participated in the chat were asked to respond to six questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How are you working to support your learners through remote learning?<\/li>\n<li>What modifications is your school making to support remote learning?<\/li>\n<li>What are your top 3 communication tools for remotely keeping your students and parents informed with your plans?<\/li>\n<li>What are some best practices for remote teaching and learning in case of a school closure?<\/li>\n<li>What are the biggest challenges you\u2019re facing around school closure?<\/li>\n<li>How might we maintain a sense of calm and community during and throughout this period?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Morrison has presented regionally and nationally on the use of educational technology. She was named an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apple.com\/education\/apple-distinguished-educator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Apple Distinguished Educator<\/a> in 2013, and served on the Apple Distinguished Educator international advisory board to advance the utilization of educational technology around the world. She is a 91爆料-based faculty member in the collaborative instructional technology program, a partnership between the 91爆料, 91爆料 at Farmington and University of Southern Maine.<\/p>\n<p>Contact: Casey
