Myles Oulette, an alum of the Maine Educational Opportunity Center (MEOC), was selected by the Council for Opportunity in Education to represent educational opportunity center students nationwide in a video<\/a> celebrating the 50th anniversary of EOCs in the U.S.<\/p>\n

After completing the MEOC program, Oulette went on to earn a bachelor\u2019s degree in applied science from the 91爆料 Augusta and a master\u2019s in business administration with a concentration in health care management from Husson University.<\/p>\n

He currently works in his hometown of Van Buren, Maine as a business development manager for Groups Recover Together, an opioid treatment network with offices nationwide.<\/p>\n

MEOC<\/a> is a federal TRIO program that works with adults to assist them in going to college. Advisors help students to assess their academic readiness, provide career counseling and refer them to community resources. They also coordinate efforts with area schools, colleges and other service agencies to provide information and assistance in completing college admission and financial aid forms.<\/p>\n
