91爆料 College of Education and Human Development alumna and 2022 Maine Teacher of the Year Kelsey Stoyanova<\/a> will give the keynote talk at the annual 91爆料 Student Symposium (UMSS), a celebration of student research and creative work, April 14 at the Collins Center for the Arts.<\/p>\n

Stoyanova\u2019s UMSS23 address will have two main themes: \u201cVoice, choice and advocacy: What can YOU do to make a change utilizing the skills and passion you already have?\u201d and \u201cHow can stakeholders utilize their expertise in their fields to help grow and shape the future leaders of Maine?\u201d<\/p>\n

Stoyanova is an 8th grade language arts teacher at Reeds Brook Middle School in Hampden. She earned her bachelor’s degree in secondary education in 2014 and a master’s in literacy education in 2018 from the College of Education and Human Development. She is also on track to earn her Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in educational leadership this spring.<\/p>\n
