Why did you decide to become a GSG senator?:Â As secretary of the History Graduate Student Association (HGSA) I am bestowed the privilege of representing my department.
How would you best serve your constituents?:Â Frequent communication, an open ear, and good humor.
Please tell us about your research or some fun facts about you: Research focus: I study Native Americans of northeast North America, particularly the southern New England region in the seventeenth century, with a focus on environmental history.
Fun fact: the Narragansett words for goose and geese are Hònck and Hónckock.
How do you plan on communicating with your constituents?:Â Aside from our informal conversations in the History Headquarters of Stevens Hall, I will email regular updates and communicate via our Google Chat.
