Being located at the 91±¬ÁÏ campus in Orono means that you have ample travel experiences and dining options. Take a fitness class at our world class recreational center or go rock climbing at Mainebound. If you live on campus, take a short walk to downtown Orono or hop on the Black Bear Express right outside the Student Union and take a trip into Bangor to explore the city. Organize a hiking trip with some friends to Acadia or go skiing for a weekend at Sugar Loaf mountain during the winter.

Don’t want to travel all the way to Bangor. Take a quick ride, or even walk, to downtown Orono. Located a 5 – 10 minute drive or bike ride away (or about a 15 minute walk), you’ll find delicious food and fun activities to do in downtown Orono.
