The Greenhouses are generally available to students in the College of Natural Sciences, Forestry, and Agriculture for educational and related activities. We invite other 91爆料 students interested in using the facilities to contact the superintendent.<\/p>\n<p>There are ten important things you need to know:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Your safety and the safety of others is your first responsibility.<\/li>\n<li>Students must complete all 91爆料 and greenhouse safety training before undertaking any activities in the facility. The safety training program begins with the link to Safety Information on the Roger Clapp Greenhouses and Littlefield Garden homepage.<\/li>\n<li>Staff and students must adhere to all Roger Clapp Greenhouses policies and procedures. Policies and procedures information can be accessed from the Roger Clapp Greenhouses and Littlefield Garden homepage.<\/li>\n<li>The Roger Clapp Greenhouses contain a permanent collection including orchids, begonias, cacti, bromeliads, citrus, and many other interesting plants. These plants are available for viewing, but please do not move or disturb them without permission.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining a professional appearance is important to us. Please help us keep the place tidy.<\/li>\n<li>The initiation of new student activities (courses, projects, club events, etc.) at the greenhouses must begin with the faculty instructor or advisor contacting the superintendent. Please request approval for new activities weeks (or months!) in advance.<\/li>\n<li>The farm staff strives to be helpful and friendly. Your questions are welcomed,<\/li>\n<li>Greenhouse superintendent, Brad Libby, wants to hear your thoughts on how to make the greenhouses a better learning environment for students. Please feel free to contact him with your comments.<\/li>\n<li>Activities at the greenhouses include faculty and graduate student research, educational programs, tours, and undergraduate education and research. Please respect the activities and work of everyone.<\/li>\n<li>Become involved with activities at the greenhouses. Do not be bashful about asking to volunteer for projects, observe research, or participate in other ways. If we know you are interested we can help find opportunities.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Again, welcome to the Roger Clapp Greenhouses.
