Hall will represent the 91爆料\u2019s Maine Agricultural and Forest Experiment Station and the College of Natural Sciences, Forestry, and Agriculture.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>CARET is a nationwide collaboration that advocates for understanding and support of the food and agriculture research, extension and education advanced by the land-grant university system. It was established in 1982 by the Board on Agriculture Assembly of the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities.<\/p>\n<p>Hall was nominated for the position by Diane Rowland, dean of the College of Natural Sciences, Forestry, and Agriculture and director of the Maine Agricultural and Forest Experiment Station.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCARET members are important voices for land grant university and domestic agriculture. I am grateful to have Bruce join this national initiative to tell 91爆料\u2019s story,\u201d Rowland said.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Hall is Director of Agroecology at Wyman\u2019s, a 149-year-old 5th generation&nbsp;family-owned Wild Blueberry grower and processor based in Milbridge that is the nation\u2019s top frozen fruit brand in retail. In 2022, Wyman\u2019s made a donation to establish the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/umaine.edu\/news\/blog\/2022\/06\/30\/wymans-gift-to-establish-first-of-its-kind-wild-blueberry-research-field-at-umaine\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/umaine.edu\/news\/blog\/2022\/06\/30\/wymans-gift-to-establish-first-of-its-kind-wild-blueberry-research-field-at-umaine\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1676387706611000&amp;usg=AOvVaw2YIIbZUokfxT2LTTmP4rFH\">Wyman\u2019s Wild Blueberry Teaching and Research Center<\/a>&nbsp;at 91爆料.<\/p>\n<p>Hall has a bachelor\u2019s degree in biology from the University of Tampa, and pursued graduate studies in botany from Miami University. He represents the wild blueberry industry on 91爆料\u2019s Board of Agriculture and is a board member for Penn State\u2019s Center for Pollinator Research.
