James Madison Fellowship &#8211; Information Session"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><b>*This information session has been cancelled, please contact oms.ga@maine.edu to set an individual appointment!<\/b><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The James Madison Memorial Fellowship Foundation offers $24,000 to individuals desiring to become outstanding teachers of the American Constitution at the secondary school level.\u00a0Senior Fellowships\u00a0are also awarded to current, in-service teachers.<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>After receiving the master\u2019s degree, each Fellow must teach American history, American government, or civics where you will teach topics on the Constitution in grades 7\u201312 for one full year for each academic year of funding received under a fellowship, preferably in the state from which you were awarded the fellowship.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jamesmadison.gov\/fellowship-information\/fellowship-eligibility\">Link to complete eligibility requirements<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Internal Deadline:\u00a0February 3rd, 2025<\/p>\n<p>National Deadline:\u00a0March 2nd, 2025<\/p>\n<p>Thee Office of Major Scholarships will be hosting a dedicated information session on <b>Wednesday,<\/b>\u00a0<b>January 28th from 12:00 to 1:00 PM in Shibles Hall, Room 159.<\/b>\u00a0Professor Mark Brewer, 91爆料&#8217;s James Madison Fellowship representative, will also be in attendance.
