Ballingall, \u00a0Assistant Professor of Political Science at the 91爆料<\/b>.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/umaine.edu\/polisci\/faculty-and-staff\/robert-ballingall\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/umaine.edu\/polisci\/faculty-and-staff\/robert-ballingall\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1633712258508000&amp;usg=AFQjCNG2bIqqu1-ZvZWRzz8JJ3D1Mq4eAQ\">Professor Ballingall&#8217;s research interests lie<\/a>\u00a0in classical political philosophy and its fraught relationship to modern \u2013 especially liberal democratic \u2013 political thought.\u00a0 Before coming to 91爆料, Professor Ballingall was Postdoctoral Fellow in the Program on Constitutional Government at Harvard and Allan Bloom Memorial Postdoctoral Fellow for Research in Classical Political Thought at the University of Toronto, where he also took his PhD.\u00a0 Professor Ballingall\u2019s new book,\u00a0<i>The Reverent City: Plato\u2019s Laws and the Politics of Ethical Authority<\/i>, is under contract to the University of Pennsylvania Press.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>Panelist:\u00a0<b>Victoria Bonney, Director of Communications for Congresswoman Chellie Pingree (D-Maine)<\/b>.\u00a0 In 2017, Victoria Bonney was named\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pingree.house.gov\/news\/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=1517\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/pingree.house.gov\/news\/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID%3D1517&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1633712258508000&amp;usg=AFQjCNF7TgpNor9rMQd3X9MFHe8J_Z8REQ\">Director of Communications for Maine Congresswoman Chellie Pingree<\/a>.\u00a0 Before that, Bonney spent more than a decade of service as a senior spokeswoman and communications strategist for government agencies, advocacy organizations, and political campaigns. A longtime foreign correspondent of<i>\u00a0The Christian Science Monitor, The San Francisco Chronicle<\/i>, and\u00a0<i>The Chronicle of Higher Education<\/i>, he has reported from more than fifty foreign countries and seven continents. Born in Waterville, he\u2019s a graduate of Mt.
