Dr. Erik Bernardino (Bates College) will be speaking about &#8220;The (In)Visible Worker: Contract Agricultural Laborers in the California Borderlands, 1910-1926.&#8221; The lecture is free and open to the public. The History Department Symposium Series, \u201cHistory through Food &amp; Drink,&#8221; is supported in part by a grant from the Cultural Affairs\/Distinguished Lecture Series Fund and the McGillicuddy Humanities Center.<\/p>\n<p>Erik Bernardino is a historian of the twentieth century United States specializing in Latinx, immigration, and borderlands histories with particular interests in the intersection of immigration policy and labor migrations at the turn of the twentieth century.
