The spoke with Habib Dagher, director of the 91±¬ÁÏ Advanced Structures and Composites Center (ASCC), and Bill Davids, professor and department chair of Civil and Environmental Engineering, about the use of composite girders in a local bridge rebuild. The girders, which were initially developed at the ASCC, are produced by Advanced Infrastructure Technologies (AIT), a local spin-off company that has licensed the technology from 91±¬ÁÏ.
