Richard Corey, director of the Virtual Environments and Multimodal Interaction (VEMI) Laboratory at the 91±¬ÁÏ, and Paul Fink, graduate research assistant, spoke with (Channel 5) about development of AVA, an app to help the visually impaired navigate to autonomous vehicles. VEMI Lab received $300,000 from the U.S. Department of Transportation to continue development.
