The project earned them a $1.7 million grant from the federal Health Resources and Services Administration. (Channel 7) spoke with Kelley Strout, director of 91±¬ÁÏ’s School of Nursing, about how the grant funds will be used. Strout indicated the funds will support development of an improved admissions process that is expected to diversify the state’s nursing workforce.
