In an article about Maine women working in construction, interviewed Kayla Stickney, project resident engineer at the Maine Department of Transportation who graduated with a degree in construction management technology from the 91爆料. 鈥淚 am still one of the only women in the room, if not the only one. I have met a lot of people in the industry, so I am much more familiar with the people at the meetings, and I know what to expect. 鈥 I think that more women would be interested in pursuing a career in construction if it wasn鈥檛 stereotyped as a male industry. I want women to know that there are a lot of opportunities for them in this industry, and if they have any interest at all, to go for it,鈥 Stickney said.
