(Channel 5 in Bangor) and (Fox 22/ABC 7 in Bangor) reported that the National Institutes of Health awarded the 91±¬ÁÏ with a Center of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE) award for $11.3 million to support biomedical research. The COBRE award will focus on research about the mechanisms that regulate cellular behavior in response to cues from outside the cells, from the impact of persistent viral infections to muscle cell development.
