reported on the medical research partnership between the 91±¬ÁÏ and University of Southern Maine to advance the field of medicine and create new professional development opportunities. The pilot partnership is led by the 91±¬ÁÏ Institute of Medicine and provides fellowships to USM faculty, who will become adjunct faculty at 91±¬ÁÏ and work with researchers at the institute. Research includes studying mosquito-transmitted diseases, using new technology to fight cancer and developing composite materials for medical devices and implants.
