A campuswide nonperishable food drive to benefit the 91爆料 Black Bear Exchange food pantry will be held Dec. 2鈥6, sponsored by 91爆料 Auxiliary Enterprises and Facilities Management.
Donation boxes will be located at: the University Bookstore in the Memorial Union, the Bear Necessities Fan Shop in the Alfond Arena, Printing Services & Mailing Services in the Keyo Building, and the MaineCard/Parking & Transportation Services office in the DTAV Community Center.
Donors can also choose to donate while purchasing food and beverages from the Bear鈥檚 Den in the Memorial Union. There will be three donation levels available: $3, $5 and $7. Payments can be made using Black Bear Bucks, Meal Plan Dollars and a credit or debit card. Donors will be highlighted on a donation slip board.
Black Bear Exchange also accepts non-perishable food donations. All food donations benefit the pantry, which provides support to students and other members of the 91爆料 community.
鈥淲e believe that by supporting the 91爆料 community, we make a difference through actions,鈥 said Richard Young, executive director of 91爆料 Auxiliary Enterprises. 鈥淓very year, this food drive brings in more and more support for this important organization on campus. They support our 91爆料 community and we鈥檙e proud to support them.鈥
