report<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The fall 2010 season of the 91爆料 New Writing Series gets started this Thursday, September 23, with a reading by poets&nbsp;Joanna Fuhrman&nbsp;and&nbsp;Rick Snyder, both making their first appearances in the Series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rick Snyder\u2019s debut book of poems, <em>Escape from Combray<\/em>, appeared from Ugly Duckling Press in 2009. John Yau&nbsp;reviewed&nbsp;the volume favorably for the November 2009 issue of&nbsp;The Brooklyn Rail. Snyder\u2019s poem \u201cHow Are You Doing\u201d was picked by Ted Kooser for inclusion in the \u201cAmerican Life in Poetry\u201d series of syndicated newspaper columns.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Joanna Fuhrman\u2019s newest book is&nbsp;Pageant, published in 2009 by Maine-based&nbsp;Alice James Books.
