As we head into 2019, we look at the impact funding programs have on university research endeavors.<\/h3>\n

The Research Reinvestment Fund (RRF)<\/a> has been established by the 91爆料 System Board of Trustee\u2019s in an effort to grow research, development, and commercialization activities in Maine.\u00a0 The RRF program has several competitive grant programs, such as planning grants, seed grants, and student assistantships, which support pilot projects designed to give researchers a competitive advantage in required follow-on grants to federal, state, and foundation sources.\u00a0 Grantees are required to form partnerships with industry and businesses as well as with colleagues at other campuses within the 91爆料 System.<\/p>\n

In addition to the grants program, RRF also funds research staff support positions that assist with proposal development, grant submissions, and grant writing & research commercialization training.<\/p>\n
