Areas of Focus
Research Data Security services are available to all 91±¬ÁÏ System campuses from the Office of the Vice President for Research and Dean of the Graduate School. Security services facilitate the development and implementation of research-specific data security guidance, policy, and infrastructure, in line with information security policies and procedures.
Digital data has unique requirements, and ARCSIM will work with UMS INFOSEC and 91±¬ÁÏ ORC to collaboratively develop and implement compliant workflows, providing seamless protocols to the research community. Â
ARCSIM will also work with the researcher to protect data in terms of privacy and reliability of access. Please note our HPC acceptable use policy.
- Researcher-focused solution assessments
- Periodic assessments of compliance within secure computing environments
- Compliant reaction to information security incidents
- Technical security controls assessments and baseline validations to identify vulnerabilities and correct deficiencies as part of a continuous monitoring program
