Project Summary
Boardman Hall, built in 1949 and serving more than 65% of Maine College of Engineering and Computing students, will undergo a $50 million modernization to support collaboration, innovation and learning. The project will preserve the building’s historic character while adding modern accessibility features, upgraded infrastructure and improved energy efficiency. It also will be the first campus renovation aligned with updated 91±¬ÁÏ System sustainability standards. Designed as a welcoming gateway on the University Mall, the space will foster connection, interdisciplinary work and student success.
