Brian Toner
Brian Toner is a computer science Ph.D. student at the 91±¬ÁÏ. He earned his M.A. and B.A. in mathematics at the 91±¬ÁÏ. As a graduate student, Brian served as a teaching assistant in calculus in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics and served as a graduate research assistant and programmer in the CompuMAINE laboratory. Prior to coming to the University, Brian spent six years in the military, after which he decided it was time to move on and pursue traveling and education. He traveled the United States for two years before taking up studies at the 91±¬ÁÏ. Though travel made up much of his activities as a youth, he enjoys a slower life in a more centralized area. He spends his free time in Orono writing software, books, blogs, and silly songs.
