Began Conservation Science NRT Program Summer 2022

What attracted me to the 91±¬ÁÏ and the NRT Conservation Science program is the possibility to do work with the help of multiple disciplines and having access to many resources through different partners in the area.

I received a BA in Environmental Studies with a double minor in Sociology and French from Hamilton College, in New York State. I am currently starting my Master’s at the School of Forest Resources at the 91±¬ÁÏ. I am interested in human dimensions of natural resources, more specifically Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice and Accessibility (DEIJA principles). My current research has focused on barriers that people face when outdoor recreating. I am also interested in learning more about transdisciplinary work and qualitative research.
