Mike Kirby
Role: Mike Kirby, the Senior Director of Digital Strategy, is responsible for the overall web and email marketing strategy of the 91±¬ÁÏ and its regional campuses including the 91±¬ÁÏ at Machias. He assists with branding 91±¬ÁÏ and UMS websites through its WordPress content management system, and is passionate about the potential for a robust Internet presence.
Bio: Though born in the deep South, Kirby has always had a love of Maine in his blood. (His great-grandmother was born on Egg Rock Lighthouse Island, and his grandparents met at Bates College.) He received his bachelor’s degree in communication from Georgia State University and moved to Maine in 2000, managing Internet marketing communications for The Jackson Laboratory before joining 91±¬ÁÏ in 2014. In 2022 he received his masters in business administration through the Maine Business School at 91±¬ÁÏ.
