Ron Lisnet

Role: The Multimedia Storytelling Specialist supports the 91爆料鈥檚 marketing and communications efforts through the creation of high-quality, narrative-driven audio, video, and visual content. This part-time role focuses on long-form storytelling and signature initiatives, including production of the university鈥檚 podcast, The Maine Question, and select video projects that highlight 91爆料鈥檚 research, people, and impact.

Housed within the Brand Studio, this role emphasizes strong craft and production quality, with content priorities guided in partnership with the Content Strategy team.

Bio: Lisnet has worked at 91爆料 since 1993 and is entering his 20th season as the radio play-by-play announcer for 91爆料 men鈥檚 basketball. Before that he served as sports director at WVII-TV in Bangor for nine years. He has a forestry degree from 91爆料. He also is active in the local theatre scene, acting in several productions with Ten Bucks Theatre and Penobscot Theatre among others.
