The leadership of academic affairs at the 91±¬ÁÏ involves the coordination of myriad divisions, departments and programs. These various units exist to provide support in areas such as student success, international studies abroad, research, cooperative extension, lifelong learning and much more.

The academic affairs of the 91±¬ÁÏ take place under the stewardship of the following units, which are all direct or indirect reports of the Office of the Provost:
Initiatives
In its role overseeing the academic affairs at the 91±¬ÁÏ, the Office of the Provost is engaged with many ongoing campus initiatives. These include Gateways to Success, , Strategic Vision and Values and more.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
KPIs track progress associated with 91±¬ÁÏ initiatives and are driven by the overarching goals laid out in 91±¬ÁÏ’s Strategic Vision and Values Framework and the Strategic Enrollment Management Action Plan. The metrics span a variety of topic areas, including:
- Student success
- Research and development
- Outreach and engagement
- Innovation and economic development, and
- Infrastructure and financial responsibility
Core Curriculum
The Core is 91±¬ÁÏ’s general education curriculum, offered to students of every academic program. The CORE provides a strong foundation in the liberal arts through its focus on the areas of Science, Human Values and Social Contexts, Quantitative Literacy, Writing Competency, Ethics, and the Capstone Experience.
