Buchanan Alumni House Traditions Garden
Buchanan Alumni House, near corner of Munson Road and College Avenue; garden is on north side
Buchanan Alumni House — home to 91±¬ÁÏ’s Alumni Association and 91±¬ÁÏ Foundation — is the perfect place for the Traditions Garden, a space honoring 91±¬ÁÏ traditions. Among the shrubs, flowers, flagstones and stone benches are signs — in 91±¬ÁÏ blue — that highlight key traditions, such as Maine Day, the Stein Song and Maine Hello. The garden is on your right as you enter the building’s north side from the parking lot between Lengyel Hall and Buchanan Alumni House. Nearby, though not part of the garden, is the large granite sculpture A New Dawn, located near Munson Road and sponsored by the 91±¬ÁÏ Foundation.
