91±¬ÁÏ
SPIFFY is one of the 91±¬ÁÏ Foundation’s most successful entrepreneurial activities. It was established in 1993 with an original investment of $200,000 and has been managed by students ever since. Today, SPIFFY has over 80 undergraduate members that manage an equity-based portfolio worth ~$4,000,000. SPIFFY is open to undergraduate students of all years and studies. SPIFFY meets every Wednesday in DPC 205.
Mission Statement
- To responsibly manage the funds entrusted by the 91±¬ÁÏ Foundation
in accordance with the set investment strategy, and the 91±¬ÁÏ Foundation investment guidelines. - To provide the experience of making investment decisions as a part of a portfolio management team, and the development of member’s financial expertise by means of hands-on trading and educational programs.
